Look What I Found…

Anyone that is a parent to either a two-legged or four-legged little darlin will completely understand this list.  For those that aren’t, let me explain.  As you go about cleaning the house, or sometimes just walking from one room to another, you come across something that makes you stop and think–This is not really happening, I’m just imagining it!  The mysterious part is that NO ONE ever knows how it happened.

Here’s a list of my recent “finds”:

1.  Living room covered in what looked like tiny bird seeds. Everywhere!  Tables, chairs, bookcases, and rug.  (We don’t have birds and our outside feeders haven’t had any seeds in two years.)

2.  Fresh from the washer lace tablecloth with an abstract orange design all over it. (It was solid white when I put it on the table.)

3.  Couch cushion missing a corner.

4.  Two bowls containing unidentifiable matter under my son’s bed.

5.  Paw prints on my bedspread.

6.  Neighbor’s wet kitten wrapped in good bath towel. (Of course, we wouldn’t want it to catch a cold)

7.  Dog collar and leash on front porch–no sign of dog. (Dog appeared an hour later, soaking wet and tired, so naturally needed an immediate nap on the couch)

8.  Large hole in the side of the cat food bag. (Apparently, it tastes better when eaten straight out of the bag instead of the food bowl.)

9.  Trail of cat food across kitchen floor. (In case they get lost on the way back to the bag)
